Photography has always been an immense passion of mine, since I was a child with my little toy camera to now with my Nikon. When I was ten years old, my grandfather bought me my first digital camera, an Olympus pocket camera. I really started to use it when my family took a vacation to Paris, France. I used it mainly to document our trip. I first noted that I had a talent for the art when I captured the award winning photograph of my brother, Oliver, sitting outside of a store with a dog in Santorini, Greece. From then on, I heard encouraging words from family and friends, especially my parents and grandparents. I am currently enrolled in an Advance Photography course at my school where I have won a variety of awards. Growing up in a 200 year old house in the country side of New Jersey I always have a great opportunity to shoot right in my back yard as seen here. New Jersey unfortunately gets a bad rap from the "Real Housewives" and "Jersey Shore" shows when the people here are completely opposite of that. After seeing work by other photographers like Ansel Adams, Gordon Parks, and Dorothea Lange, I am further inspired to be creative.
